The Rhythms of Your Days
A novel that plays
“You’re about to enter a place where physics meets vinyl,
where Edinburgh smells of rain and Primal Scream, and where 144 songs
tell a story no book has ever told quite like this.”
QR codes, Spotify and clues
Every song in the book has a link that opens Spotify. Every chapter has a QR code that takes you to pages on the website with the city’s secret places, the bands born there, and something you won’t find in the text.
The website isn’t a bonus. It’s part of the novel.
Isacco, Sofia and Teta — do they really exist?
Isacco studies physics and builds formulas the way others build cathedrals. Sofia philosophises as if time were elastic. Teta is a DJ with a periodic table of musical genres, a laboratory and a philosophical manifesto.
Are they characters? Are they real people? The website leaves you wondering. On purpose.
“It could be that this website really exists because they really exist. Or not. The truth, as DJ Teta says, is always a matter of point of view.”
The philosophical Manifesto — the 16 words that change everything
There’s a manifesto in the book. Sixteen words. A formula for looking at music, at people, at the world.
You’ll find the manifesto in the book. You’ll find it explored in depth on this website. And then you’ll discover it works outside music too.
